1. On the lock screen, tap Forgot pattern?
2. Type your 9-word recovery phrase in order. It is in English, so use an English keyboard.
3. Draw a new pattern.
4. Write down your new recovery phrase. The old phrase no longer works.

We are sorry: your files cannot be recovered. Your files are encrypted with keys that only your pattern or phrase can unlock, and we never have them. There is no reset by email and no back door.

If you have a backup file and still remember the pattern you used when you made it, or that backup's recovery phrase, you can restore that backup.

Android's own backup and phone transfer do not copy SpaceMoon's files. Use a backup file:

1. On your old phone, open Settings > Vault > Back up to a file.
2. Draw your pattern, then choose where to save the file, such as your Google Drive or a computer. Stay in the app until it finishes.
3. On the new phone, install SpaceMoon and tap Restore from a backup file.
4. Choose the .smb file and open it with the pattern you used for the backup, or with your recovery phrase.
5. Draw a new pattern and write down your new recovery phrase.

Keep the backup file somewhere only you can reach. Anyone who has it can try to guess your pattern. More about backups

1. Open Settings > App icon.
2. Allow the permissions it asks for first. Android shows the real app name in permission requests.
3. Choose Calculator, Unit Converter or Clock, and set an open code of 4 to 8 digits (6 or more is safer).
4. The home screen may take a moment to show the new icon and name.

To reach the lock screen:

• Calculator: type your code, then press and hold =.
• Unit Converter: type your code as the value, then press and hold the result.
• Clock: in Timer, set your code as hours:minutes, then press and hold Start.

A wrong code does nothing. To switch back, choose SpaceMoon in the same screen. The phone's Settings > Apps list always shows SpaceMoon. See the limits

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
3. Choose SpaceMoon Pro and tap Cancel subscription.

You can also go to Google Play subscriptions on the web. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged. Refunds follow Google Play's rules.

1. Make sure the Play Store uses the same Google account you paid with.
2. Connect to the internet.
3. Open Settings > SpaceMoon Pro and tap Restore purchases.

Pro belongs to your Google account, not to the phone, so it also works on a new phone.

No. Your files stay on your phone, encrypted. A backup file goes only where you save it.
