Every pattern you draw opens its own vault. A new pattern opens an empty vault, and it is saved when you add its first file. Each new vault gets a random four-letter name.

What it does
Four security levels
Choose a level for each vault: pattern only; pattern and a recovery phrase on paper; pattern and fingerprint; or the top level, pattern and a 6 to 8 digit PIN (with Ultra).
Move from your gallery
Pick photos and videos. LifeVeil saves an encrypted copy, then removes the originals from the gallery after Android asks you to confirm. Or copy them and keep the originals.
Camera in the vault
Take photos and videos with LifeVeil's own camera. They go straight into the vault and never into the gallery.
Change the app icon
On the home screen, LifeVeil can look like a calculator or a timer that really works, in one of four color themes. Type your code, then press and hold the key you chose to reach the lock screen.
Recovery phrase, if you want one
Add 9 English words to a vault and write them on paper. If you forget the pattern, the phrase opens the vault and shows you the pattern.
Backup file you keep
Save a vault as one encrypted file, wherever you choose: your own cloud, a computer, another phone. Restore it on a new phone with your pattern or phrase.
App folder
Keep a list of apps inside LifeVeil and open them from there. It helps you hide their home screen icons where Android allows.
Hidden notifications
If you allow it, notifications from the apps in the folder go to a private inbox inside LifeVeil instead of your lock screen. They stay on your phone.

No one can open a vault for you
If you forget the pattern of a vault that has no recovery phrase, or you lose both the pattern and the phrase, no one can recover its files. Not even us. We never have your keys.
